The MES has been in the forefront in setting up self-financing institutions as well as autonomous ones. The Government of Kerala chose MES to implement the concept of self-financing education in the State. MES College of Architecture Kakkodi, Kozhikode was started in the year 2013, with an intake of 40 students, specially catering the northern parts of the State of Kerala, with respect to their convenience and assured quality of education in architecture.
The MES College of Architecture, Kakkodi, Kozhikode is situated atop Nedumalakkunnu, Kakkodi, in the outskirts of Calicut city. The College campus site extents to 12 acres of land and render itself for further expansion and development. Residential facility for students and faculty exists in college campus, with a girls hostel of 60 intake and boys accommodation in Kakkodi town itself. The College is situated in a beautiful natural setting to be a perfect campus for Architects.
Recognized by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi and the Government of Kerala, the College is affiliated to the University of Calicut. The College is easily accessible by road and rail, being only 12km from Kozhikode railway station. The nearest Airport is Calicut International Airport, 38 km away from the College.
Vijaya Nhaloor, an Architect, Planner and Sustainability Consultant with a B.Arch Degree from TKMCE and M.Planning (Housing) Post Graduation Degree from CET. She has 15 years of Professional Experience before joining academics in 2014.
Full time 5 years B.Arch Degree course approved by COA and affiliated to University of Calicut.
Full fledged library, College bus, Canteen and accomodation is provided
Accommodation for boys and girls will be provided in the Hostels, managed by the college.
